JOSEPH N. BOLANDER

Attorney At Law

FIGHTING FOR EMPLOYEES IN LOS ANGELES, RIVERSIDE, SAN BERNARDINO AND ORANGE COUNTIES

In 2011, Joe graduated magna cum laude from Chapman University School of Law, finishing second in his class. Since then, he has proudly represented employees in state and federal courts throughout California. Joe is admitted to practice in all California state courts, in all federal district courts in California, before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

In addition to handling civil litigation matters, Joe has successfully argued appeals on behalf of employees in the California Courts of Appeal and before the Ninth Circuit, and he represents employees at the administrative level, including in unfair labor practice charges before the Public Employees Relation Board. Joe is also experienced in handling petitions for administrative mandamus (CCP 1094.5) seeking to set aside agency findings upholding public employee discipline, and ordinary writs of mandate (CCP 1085) seeking to compel a public entity to perform a ministerial duty.

Joe enjoys working with clients to find the best path forward. Sometimes that means immediately filing a lawsuit, and sometimes a different approach is best. It is important that people know their rights. Being a victim of discrimination, harassment and other unlawful employment practices can be devastating for employees. Joe takes pride in being able to help his clients assert their rights and fight back.
